Answers to your questions about cellulite treatment
TGA-approved machine is designed to treat specific pockets of cellulite and superficial fat. The advantage of this machine is it tightens the skin as it works. This system uses radio-frequency for skin tightening and ultrasound cavitation to treat the fat.
The radio frequency works by heating the collagen in the layers of your skin causing the initial shrinking of the collagen fibres but also stimulating deeper collagen production. This takes between 2 – 6 months to have full effect. The ultrasound cavitation works by causing the fat cells to vibrate and bang into each other which damages the cell wall and destroys the fat cells. After applying gel on the skin, the technician will move the head over the area heating it up for approximately 40 mins. It is quite a pleasant procedure. The destroyed fat cells are then removed via the lymph system so we recommend a quick session in our lymphatic drainage system to speed things along
The procedure is extremely safe when done by a trained practitioner. It is a walk-in, walk-out procedure. How many treatments will I need? Maximum results are seen with ten treatments. They are done 10 days to 2 weeks apart When will I see results? Some people see immediate results but most people after 3 to 4 treatments Results do vary between people. It has been noted that those with high estrogen can have inferior results. Cost? Cost depends upon the size of the area to be treated. It is between $150 to $300 per treatment
